Engineering & Photography? How does this Combo work?

Although I call myself a Photography-Artist, I am also a graduated Engineer for Machine Building with an extensive Knowhow in Construction of mechanical Parts, its Manufacturing Processes, the related Quality Control and Obsolescence Management.

And whenever I step over a particular, technical problem (which is either only solved in a poor way or even not yet solved at all by the industry), I find myself often thinking about how the problem can be overcome and fixed.
